Bundles & Offers
Bundles & Offers
Bundles & Offers runs the deals shoppers already know, like Buy 1 Get 1 Free, 2 for Rs 2,800 or a free gift above an amount. Deals apply by themselves in the cart and at checkout, so shoppers never type a code.
The app is installed on every new store. Open it from Apps → Bundles & Offers. It has two tabs: Offers lists your deals, and On your store controls how deals are advertised.
At the top, Deal uses counts how many times your offers applied to an order in the last 30 days. Discount given is how much they took off those orders.
Deal types
Create offer opens a gallery of deal types. Pick one, choose the products, and save.
| Group | Deal | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Deals on products | Buy 1 Get 1 Free | Buy 1 attar, get the second free |
| Buy 2 Get 1 Free | Buy any 2 kurtas, the 3rd is free | |
| Quantity deals | 1 for Rs 1,500 · 2 for Rs 2,800 · 3 for Rs 3,900 | |
| Buy this, get that free | Buy the face wash, get a toner free | |
| Deals on the whole order | Spend & save | Rs 300 off above Rs 2,500 · 10% off above Rs 5,000 |
| Free gift above an amount | Free tote bag on orders above Rs 3,000 | |
| Bundles | Combo deal | Shampoo + conditioner for Rs 1,999 |
| Mix & match | Any 3 attars for Rs 2,500 |
Products can be chosen one by one or by collection, except for gifts and combos, which take specific products.
How each deal is priced
- Buy X, get Y: in every group of X + Y items from the chosen products, the cheapest Y get the discount. With Buy 2 Get 1 Free, the cheapest of 3 items is free, and the two cheapest of 6. Discount on the extra items defaults to free (100% off). A smaller percent makes a softer deal, like "buy 1, get the second at 50% off".
- Quantity tiers: each tier is a quantity with a pack price (2 for Rs 2,599) or a percent off. The cart applies the best mix by itself, so 3 items with a 2-pack tier are one pack plus one item at the normal price.
- Spend tiers: money off the whole order once it reaches an amount, as a fixed amount or a percent. Only the highest tier the order reaches applies.
- Free gift above an amount: the order total that earns the gift is counted after your other offers and before delivery. A gift with no options is added to the cart for the shopper. If it has sizes or colours, the cart asks them to choose.
- Combo price: the price of one full set, or a percent off what the set costs separately. Adding the set twice gets the price twice.
Preview prices a sample cart with the same engine the checkout uses. Change the quantities to see how the deal applies before you save.
Names and labels
- Offer name is for you only. It's how the offer is listed in the app and in reports.
- What shoppers see is the deal's label on product ribbons, in the bundle picker, in the cart and on the order. Write it the way a shopper would say it, like "Buy 2, get 1 free". The Urdu label is shown on stores displayed in Urdu.
- A tier badge like "Most popular" or "Best value" tags a tier in the bundle picker. The tier with a badge is selected when the page opens.
- A pack photo, such as a box of two, is shown on pack tiles in the bundle picker and the COD order form.
Limits and scheduling
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Schedule | Start now or on a date, and run until you pause it or until an end date. Times are your store's local time |
| Times per order | How many times the deal can apply in one order. Buy 1 Get 1 with a limit of 1 gives one free item in a cart of 4, not two. Empty means no limit |
| Total orders | The offer ends by itself after this many orders, for a "first 100 orders" deal. Empty means no limit |
| Works with discount codes | On: a shopper can add a discount code on top. Off: they get whichever saves more, the deal or the code, never both |
An offer's status is Live, Scheduled, Paused, Ended or Limit reached. Pause an offer to stop it for now and keep it. Deleting stops it at once. Orders that already used it keep their discount.
On your store
These settings decide where deals are advertised. They are the same settings as App embeds → Show offers on your store in the theme editor, saved in your live theme. With Show deals on my store off, offers still apply at checkout but shoppers don't see them advertised.
Look
- Use my theme's button colour matches the picker to your theme's Add to cart button. Turn it off to choose a Selected card colour of your own.
- Deal colour is used for badges, ribbons, savings and the offer bar.
- Corner rounding: square themes look best at 0, soft ones at around 12.
Bundle picker
On product pages with a deal, the bundle picker shows the deals to choose from, priced.
| Layout | Suits |
|---|---|
| List | Each deal as a row |
| Offer tiers | Rows that lead with the price per item |
| Pack picker | Tiles with the pack's photo, good for "Pack of 2" deals |
| Quantity stepper | Buy X Get Y on the same product: free items appear as the shopper adds more |
Where places it Above Add to cart or Below price. For an exact spot, choose Block only and add the Bundle picker block to the product page in the theme editor.
Selected at first: starting on the card with a badge sells more bundles than starting on 1 item. Best value badge goes on the deal that saves the most when none has a badge of its own.
Everywhere else
- Ribbons on product cards: a small label on the photo of every product with a deal, wherever your theme lists products.
- Offer bar: a thin bar at the top of every page with your best deal. Once the shopper has a cart, it shows how much more to add for the next saving.
- Deals in the cart: on the cart page and in the cart drawer, what the deals save and how close the shopper is to a free gift.
- Combo deals: your combos as cards with an Add combo to cart button that adds the whole set in one tap. Choose Automatic to show the combos with the current product on product pages and all combos on the home page, or pick combos to show everywhere. On a page where you added the Combo deals section yourself, that section is used instead.
For developers
Custom CSS applies your own styles to the picker and combo cards on every page. The parts are .ek-o-box, .ek-o-opt, .ek-o-flag, .ek-o-price, .ek-cd-card and .ek-cd-btn.
Combo card in your theme adds a starter snippet to your live theme. Edit it in the code editor, and every combo is drawn with your HTML.
Offers and discount codes
Offers are automatic. Discount codes are typed by the shopper and managed under Discounts. See Discounts and marketing. Use Works with discount codes to decide whether the two can combine.
