Pages, menus and blog

Everything here is store content that isn't a product: standalone pages such as About or Returns, the menus that link your storefront together, blog posts, and the images and videos you upload.

Pages

Online Store → Pages → Add page.

Field	What it does

Visibility	Visible is live. Hidden is saved but not shown to shoppers

A page lives at /pages/your-handle. The handle comes from the title and you can't type it yourself. Rename the page and the handle changes to match.

Renaming doesn't break old links. Eekaam adds a permanent redirect from the old address to the new one, and you'll see it under Settings → Redirects. See SEO.

New pages start as Visible. If you want to write a draft first, switch it to Hidden before you save.

Navigation menus

Content → Navigation. A menu is a named list of links. Your theme decides where each one appears.

1. Add menu and give it a Title and a Handle. The handle is how the theme finds the menu, for example main-menu or footer. Two menus in the same store can't share a handle.
2. Add item opens a picker with five tabs: Pages, Products, Collections, Blog posts and Custom link. Custom link also offers ready-made links to Home, Catalog, Blog, Cart, Search, Contact and Account.
3. To make a dropdown, press + on an item to add a sub-item under it. Items can nest three levels below the top level.
4. Press Save.

Items show in the order you add them. Click an item's title to rename it, or click its link to point it somewhere else.

The theme finds menus by handle, not by title. A header set to main-menu stops showing links if you rename that handle. To choose a different menu, open the header or footer section in the theme editor and pick it from the menu setting.

Blog posts

Content → Blog Posts → Create blog post. Your store has one blog. The list lives at /blog and each post at /blog/post-handle.

Post handles work like page handles: they follow the title, and renaming a post adds a redirect from its old address. Preview opens the post on your storefront.

To link your blog from the header, add the Blog quick link to a menu.

Files

Content → Files holds every image and video you've uploaded, whether you added it here or from a product, a blog post or the theme editor. Use the All, Images and Videos filters to narrow the list, or search by name.

You can drag files onto the page to upload them. From a file you can copy its URL, replace the image with a new version, or delete it. Uploads count towards your plan's storage limit. When it's full, uploads stop until you delete files or change plan.

Who can do what

Each area has its own staff permission. Pages have four: View pages, Create pages, Edit pages and Delete pages. Blog posts use Manage blog posts and menus use Manage navigation menus. See Staff and permissions.
