Reports

Analytics → Reports has ready-made reports on sales, visits, customers and products. Open one, change what it groups by and filters on, then save it for your team or export it.

The list shows every report with its Category, who it was Created by (Eekaam for the built-in ones) and when it was Last viewed. Use Search reports to find one by name.

A few that are especially useful for cash-on-delivery stores:

  • Sales by payment method compares cash on delivery with prepaid methods. The Cash on delivery share metric shows the COD share over time.
  • Orders by city shows where you ship most, which helps when choosing couriers. See Courier integration.
  • Sessions by campaign shows which tagged ads bring visits, orders and sales.
  • Sales by traffic source uses the source each order was stamped with at checkout, so it shows the orders an ad actually brought in.

Changing a report

Each report has a Controls panel:

Control
DatasetWhat the report counts: Sessions, Sales, Products or Pages
MetricsThe numbers shown. Pick one or several
Group byRows: a time unit (day, week, month, hour of day, day of week) or a field such as country, device, traffic source, city, payment method or product. Nothing (totals only) shows one row of totals
FiltersNarrow the data, for example country is PK or payment method is not COD. Add as many as you need
VisualizationLine, bar, horizontal bar, or Table only
Items shownHow many rows to chart. Show more and Show fewer change it

Metrics by dataset

DatasetMetrics
SessionsSessions, visitors, pageviews, pages per session, bounce rate, sessions with cart additions, add-to-cart rate, sessions that reached checkout, checkout rate, orders, total sales, conversion rate
SalesTotal sales, orders, gross sales, discounts, net sales, shipping charges, taxes, average order value, units sold, customers, cash on delivery share
ProductsProduct sales, units sold, orders, product views, cart additions, view-to-cart rate
PagesPageviews, sessions

Sales follow the same rule as the Analytics page: every order except cancelled ones, including unpaid cash on delivery.

Date range and comparison

Pick a preset range, or a Custom date range of up to 400 days, in your store's time zone. The table shows the Previous period beside each number so you can see what changed.

Saving reports

After you change a report, it is marked Edited.

  • Save as new report keeps your version under a name and category you choose, for example Lahore COD orders. Saved reports appear in Reports for everyone on your team.
  • On a report you saved, Save changes updates it, and Delete report removes it. Built-in reports can't be changed or deleted, but you can always save a copy.

New exploration starts a blank report from scratch.

Export and print

  • Export downloads the report's table as a CSV, including the previous-period columns.
  • Print prints the chart and table.

Who can use Reports

Reports have their own permissions, set per role under Settings → Users → Roles:

The built-in Marketer and Store manager roles can view reports. Anyone who can open a report can export it. The owner and Administrators can do everything. See Staff and permissions.
