What is Eekaam?

Eekaam is a hosted platform for running an online shop. You manage products, orders and customers in the Eekaam admin, and shoppers buy from a storefront that Eekaam serves for you. There is nothing to install and no server to look after.

It is built for merchants in Pakistan first: prices default to PKR, the payment providers are local ones, and fulfilment lists the couriers you already use. It also works for selling abroad, because markets let one store run in several countries with its own currency and pricing in each.

Who it is for

  • Sellers moving off Instagram, WhatsApp or a marketplace who want a shop of their own.
  • Businesses leaving another platform. Product and order CSVs use Shopify's column names, so an existing export usually imports unchanged.
  • Developers building themes or apps for Eekaam merchants.

The building blocks

The admin

Everything runs from the sidebar: Home, Orders, Products, Customers, Content, Discounts, Markets and Analytics, with store-wide configuration under Settings. Staff get their own logins, with roles deciding what each person can reach.

Your storefront and theme

Your shop's look comes from a theme written in Liquid, the same template language Shopify uses. Every store starts with a theme already live. Online Store → Themes is where you customise it in the theme editor, or install another from the theme store. Online Store → Pages holds your static pages, such as About and Contact.

Your address

Each store gets a free yourstore.myeekaam.com address as soon as it is created. You can connect a domain you own under Settings → Domains. The .myeekaam.com address keeps working either way.

Getting paid

Eekaam does not hold your money. You connect your own merchant account with a provider such as JazzCash, AssanPay or Stripe, and payments settle directly to you. Cash on delivery works without connecting any provider.

Selling in more than one place

Markets group countries together, each with its own currency, exchange rate, language and shipping. You can also connect Facebook & Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat and Google as sales channels, alongside your Online Store.

Apps

The app store adds features Eekaam does not ship itself. You manage installed apps under Settings → Apps, and paid app subscriptions appear on Settings → Plan beside your own plan.
