Email popups
Email popups shows visitors a sign-up popup with a welcome offer. New subscribers join your list under Customers → Subscribers, and they get their discount code on screen and by email.
The app is installed on every new store. Open it from Apps → Email popups, set it up, and press Save and go live. Turn off hides the popup again and keeps your settings.
Design
Pick one of three styles:
| Style | |
|---|---|
| Picture + offer | A photo beside your offer. The default |
| Code reveal | The email box first, then the code on screen |
| Bottom sheet | Slides up from the bottom. Made for phones |
Add a Picture. Without one, the popup is a single card. Choose a Button colour to match your store.
Check both views with the Desktop and Phone preview, on the Sign-up and Thank you steps.
Welcome offer
| Offer | |
|---|---|
| Percentage off | For example 10% off the first order |
| Amount off (Rs) | A fixed amount off |
| Free shipping | |
| No offer, just sign-up | Collects emails without a discount |
The Code is saved as a discount code. Each customer can use it once, and it works only while the popup is live. You'll see it under Discounts too.
Email the code sends new subscribers a welcome email from your store with the code in it.
Words
Every text on the popup can be changed: Badge, Heading, Text, Button, Email box hint, the Decline link ("No thanks"), Small print and the Privacy policy link. Leave the decline link empty to show no link. The × still closes the popup.
After signing up sets the thank-you text. {email} is replaced with the shopper's address.
